About Xander:
Xander is a Schnauzer/Lhasa Apso/Daschund mix who came to us from a hoarding situation with 3 of his brothers. He is a confident, playful pup who will bark and bounce around to get the attention of other dogs he wants to play with. He can be a little shy of new people when he first meets them but warms up quickly — however, he is not a big fan of being picked up and held. Xander would benefit from having another dog in the home to show him the ropes, but this is not a requirement. He would be happiest in a quieter home without small children. Xander has not been tested with cats but we don’t see there being a problem. He would be a great addition to a family looking for a hypoallergenic pup.
