Salma

About Salma:

Salma is an adorable Yorkipoo who came to us as a stray. She was a muddy, matted mess, and despite wearing a collar, we think she may have been on her own for a little while; she had burrs matted deep into her face and tail. She wasn’t happy about being caught by her finder, but once coming to us and getting all cleaned up, she really opened up! Salma LOVES people, but is not overly needy. She will stand on her back legs and dance when she is ready for attention and gives gentle kisses. She is very food motivated and really loves to eat! Salma doesn’t mind being picked up and carried around, but she isn’t a fan of being groomed; she may need a little help learning to be comfortable with the clippers. Salma gets along with dogs her size just fine, but isn’t too fond of larger dogs. We don’t think she will have any issue with cats. She will do well in just about any home willing to keep up with her grooming needs, and would make a good companion for anyone looking for a hypoallergenic dog. Unfortunately, Salma does know how to scale chain link fences so will need to go to a home with a tall privacy fence or to a home where she is outside only while on a leash.
