Kahlua Marie

About Kahlua Marie:

Kahlua Marie had it all.  She lived with her human Dad in a home, just the two of them, and was the apple of his eye.  She went everywhere with him, snuggled in bed with him, met all of his friends and family, loved being taught tricks, had all of the toys a girl could want … life was good.  Then one day Kahlua’s life was shattered when her Dad’s new girlfriend moved in. At first everything seemed fine and Kahlua had no problem letting this new woman into the wonderful world she and her Dad shared.  But soon she heard the girlfriend saying something about not liking pitbulls. The next thing Kahlua knew she was moved out of the house and was bounced around from living in an outdoor kennel at business, to living at friend’s house, to living in a vacant home, to being taken by animal control, to being surrendered to us by her Dad.  Yes, he chose the girlfriend over Kahlua, and Kahlua did nothing to deserve this.  She is a very kind, affectionate, playful, and sweet girl who is slowly starting to realize he isn’t coming back for her even though he sobbed when he said goodbye.  We so desperately want to see Kahlua find a home where she receives the unconditional love that she is so willing give.  She does well with men, women, and kids.  Please be the one that does not discriminate against a really nice dog because of her breed.
