Prince

About Prince:

We knew the day would come at I Heart Dogs when somebody would heartlessly tie a dog to our fence and run before we ever saw them.  Prince ended up being that dog.  We were just finishing adoption hours and somehow somebody was able to drive into our parking lot, time him to a downspout, and drive off without us ever seeing them.  When Prince was found, he was lying on the ground crying and confused.  When Prince stood up, we realized this sweet boy only has 3 legs – he is missing one of his back legs.  We will never know what happened to Prince’s missing let, but we can say that he is unstoppable!  He can get around better than some dogs with all four legs, and some people with two!  Prince is friendly with men and women, and we think he would do well with kids too.  He loves going for walks, and will get the zoomies in the yard when we are out playing with him.  He loves his dog bed, is potty trained, and while we have not had him out with dogs, we think we could find a buddy or two for him to play with.  It’s just a matter of time. So if you ever wanted to give a dog in need a chance, Prince is that dog.  He has conquered a lot in his life, so we are going to make sure that he doesn’t have to worry about conquering being homeless ever again.
