About Oreo:

Oreo is a border collie mix, who has spent his life in a home, and has now come to the shelter as a great adoptable family dog!  His former owner recently moved back to Michigan and had a baby, and has had to move to accommodate her new family, to a place which does not allow dogs, so regretfully,she had to surrender him to us.  Oreo gets along with kids and has lived with cats, but is a little timid yet with other dogs, as he has had not much chance to play with them.  We are working on that!  He knows his commands, is potty trained,  LOVES affection, likes to play tug of war with his human and a toy, and is an excellent leash walker!  He is a wonderful boy!  Since he has only known a regular home life before coming to us, he is VERY ready to be a Family Dog again.  Due to his size and energy, we think he’d do best with older kids.  He would probably do fine with a calm, low energy dog as well as with cats. Please think about giving this handsome, sweet boy a Forever Home!
