About Jethro:

Jethro’s start at life is a little unique, but also quite amazing.  As a puppy, he showed up in a close knit neighborhood who decided to collectively care for him as he wandered between homes, taking turns staying the night with different families.  It wasn’t until Jethro was hit by a car (thankfully no injuries) that community decided he was no longer safe and needed a rescue to help him find a dedicated home and family.

Jethro is a very calm, laid back, gentle boy that will gladly lean into you for a nice back scratch.  When in the yard, he trots around taking in all of the smells, but in the calmest possible way, especially for a dog who might have a little hound in him.  He has been test around children and is perfect.  He seems to be very aware of his size and is not overbearing when around little ones.  This boy is going to make a great family dog.  He seems a little depressed while staying with us, so the sooner is starts his happily ever after, the better.  Please consider this sweetheart as your next best friend and family member.
