About Jackson:

Jackson is a youngster who was painfully surrendered by his owner because somebody reported him as being a pitbull which are not allowed in her rental complex.  While we love pitbulls, this guy looks nothing like one – ridiculous, right?!  Well, our goal is to find this handsome youngster a new home where he can thrive.  He does really well with children (he even lets them paint his nails!), loves women, but will need to a strong and patient male in his life to help him through some issues abuse issues done by a man when he was a puppy.  We are working on providing more exposure to men in our haven so that every positive experience will help he overcome his fear.  We will also help with in-home training to ensure this boy is set up for success when that right person or family comes along.  Jackson is fantastic with other dogs – he can play rough and tumble with the high energy dogs, or scale down his energy for the gentle players.  He is potty trained, and extremely sweet and loving.  He would make a great family dog, or a single person would be great for him too.  Good things are coming for this boy’s future though … we know it!
