About Ezra:

Ezra was initially found as a stray and captured with a live trap.  Although he had a collar on, which let us know he once had a family, he had been on his own long enough to have developed some feral behaviors.  However, that all changed once he was brought into his first shelter where he received medical treatment and became aquainted with the volunteers.  He was recently transferred to us, and we have nothing but praise for this sweet boy who has endured a difficult life.  He is a little timid with introductions (not at all aggressive), but once he gets to know somebody, he becomes attached and follows that person wherever they go.  Ezra likes, and will cuddle with, other dogs that are calm and respectful. He is learning how to play with dogs and people too.  When Ezra gets excited, he gets the zoomies and will play bow.  He also just started playing with toys. Stuffed toys are his favorite! Ezra has such a kind soul and pleading eyes that will make you melt when you meet him.  He has gone on sleepovers with staff and does well (including being potty trained) in a home.  He loves to snuggle in bed, so now we just need to find the perfect person or family that wants to take him home to snuggle in their bed!  Hopefully that’s you.

Ezra is currently in a foster home so introductions will need to be scheduled ahead of time.
