Buffy

About Buffy:

Buffy has been with us since we opened our doors last November but spent several years before that with another rescue. We just can’t understand why she continues to be overlooked as she is such a GREAT dog. We bring Buffy to adoption events and she is always the best behaved dog there but leaves without any potential applications. It breaks our hearts. We noticed her becoming very sad and withdrawn, and understandably so, as she is ready for her forever home, she has been ready, yet she is still waiting. One of our wonderful volunteers recently decided she would take Buffy home to foster her for a few months in the hopes she would find her forever home. As we had hoped, Buffy is THRIVING in a home environment! Now all we need to do is help her find her FOREVER home! We know with your help, WE CAN DO IT!

Buffy’s foster Mom has nothing but great things to say about her. Buffy is completely house trained and will not chew on anything other than her own toys. She has excellent manners, knows the commands “sit”, “stay”, “watch”, “wait” and “come”. She is an excellent loose leash walker and a big cuddle bug too! Buffy loves everyone she meets and is the perfect co-pilot on car rides.

Buffy has watched her friends find their forever homes… now it is her turn!
