Serenity

About Serenity:

We love our sweet Serenity but so far, she has been unlucky in life.  She was found as a stray with heartworm, emaciated, AND in a very pregnant state … she gave birth to 14 puppies within 48 hours of going into her foster home.  She was such a loving, patient and nurturing mother to every puppy.  She taught them everything the needed to know and as a result all 14 of her babies have been living their happily ever afters for month now.  Once the puppies were adopted, Serenity was able to be treated for heartworm, spayed, vaccinated, and she is finally at a healthy weight.  But unfortunately is constantly overlooked when it comes to starting her happily ever after.  She is so good in her kennel where she sits quietly as dogs and people walk by.  She enjoys her biscuits, and takes them gently.  She is extremely smart and with training and encouragement, she could be the best trained dog in the neighborhood because alls she wants to do is please her people.  Serenity is your typical Staffordshire Terrier … she loves to cuddle in your lap like a lapdog, but also has an athletic side where she enjoys going for walks (she used to be really scared) and playing in the yard.  Our hearts hurt because after all Serenity has been through, we want to see her happy and settled in a home who loves and takes care of her.  She wants that too, so if you’re looking to give an underdog a chance, please consider our lovely sweetheart Serenity.  Join us in saving her life.
