Sausage

About Sausage:

Sausage is a hairless Chinese Crested dog (a rare find in rescue!) who came to us when his owner fell on hard times and was unable to continue caring for him. Sausage is a sweet boy but is a little frightened of his new living situation; we can’t blame him! Sausage enjoys being pet and getting belly rubs and enjoys just spending time with people. He seems to prefer his feet staying on the ground and will sometimes try to leap out of your arms to keep from being held. Sausage is said to be good with kids and other dogs, but has not yet been introduced to cats. He will do best in a home committed to providing him with proper skin care; Chinese Crested dogs are prone to acne, sunburn, and other skin maladies. He is already potty trained and would make a good addition to a family needing a hypoallergenic pet.
