About Gunner:

Gunner is your typical purebred chocolate lab! He loves to play ball and in the water, and tries to bite the water when it comes out of the hose … it’s very funny to watch. He is all energy and would benefit from an active family, whether that means hiking and swimming or simply long hours of fetch and walks.  Keeping him happy means keeping him busy. He is crate trained and housebroken, and walks decently on a leash. He knows sit and stay, and will not eat his food until he is told its ok, if you tell him to wait. He currently is selective with dogs he likes, but this is typical for a male that is not yet neutered.  He may become more relaxed with other dogs once he is neutered.  Although Gunner is energetic and jumpy, his former owner said he does fine around children of all ages.  He was surrendered due to financial reasons, so not fault of Gunner’.
