Gravy

About Gravy:

Gravy is a hairless Chinese Crested dog (a rare find in rescue!) who came to us when her owner fell on hard times and was no longer able to care for her. She is a major cuddler and enjoys being rubbed down more than anything. She is a little frightened here at the shelter, but that is understandable. Gravy is ok with children but because of her nervous nature, may do best with kids ages 8 and up. While she has lived with other dogs, we have not yet tested her to see how she would do with an unfamiliar dog. She has also never been around cats. Gravy will do best in a home that is committed to properly caring for her skin; hairless dogs are prone to acne, sunburn, and other skin maladies. She would make a great pet for someone in need of a hypoallergenic pet and is said to be housebroken already.
