About Jake:
Jake was rescued by our friends from Detroit Pit Crew and brought to us to help find his happily ever after. He was living with a woman who found him as a stray and although she wanted to keep him, she realized the timing was not right. Jake is very friendly with men, women and children, and always greets volunteers and staff with a grin and wiggly bum. He does well with his canine friends in play groups, and would probably be fine with companions of the feline variety too. What makes Jake memorable is his brindle coat on a small breed dog – very unique!
