About Tony:
We often hear stories about police officers at odds with pitbulls because that’s what makes headlines … here is a story that will warm your heart. Highland Park Police officers found Tony running as a stray who was skin and bones, but oh so friendly. The Officers refused to let such a nice boy continue to live like this, but they had nowhere to take him. They called our friends at Detroit Pit Crew, who immediately contacted us to see if we had room to take him in. The rest is history. And Tony is as nice as the Officers said … probably even nicer now that he has been bathed, fed, dewormed, vaccinated, and already playing with other dogs at our rescue. He is a very friendly boy who is waiting for his break at a happily ever after. We also think he might make a great super hero sidekick with his Robinhood mask!!!
