About Roxanne:

Roxanne and her sister came from a home where they were being neglected, and now that her sister has been adopted, it’s Roxi’s turn to start her new life.  Everyone that meets Roxi quickly sees how sweet and affectionate she is.  She just craves attention and companionship.  She is also good with dogs and cats, and would benefit from being in a home with another dog that she can run around and play with because if left alone in a yard, she does know how to climb both chain link and privacy fences … her new family must keep an eye on her until she is fully settled into her new home.  Roxi would also do best in a quieter home that does not have a lot of people coming and going, which is why we are looking for adults only.  She is good with children; however, she is protective of her family, especially when men she is not familiar with come around.  Roxi is potty trained, knows some basic commands, and is willing to learn more with yummy treats.  She enjoys going for walks, playing in the yard, and sitting in your lap like a little dog.

Roxi’s adoption also includes a free in home training session to help you learn some techniques to help manage her protectiveness.  We believe in setting up our dogs for success, which includes helps setting up our future adopters for success too!

And lastly, Roxi is currently living in a foster home so introductions need to be scheduled ahead of time.
