About Mutzie:
A really sweet elderly gentleman entered our office not too long ago asking for help. His wife had unexpectedly passed away and left him to care for their 4 small dogs on his own. As hard as he tried, he was unable to keep up with the demands so he asked for our help in finding Jackie and Mutzie a new home. It was heartbreaking to see him let go of these dogs that he clearly loved so much, but we deeply respected that he knew his limits.
While Jackie and Mutzie are seniors themselves, they are full of spunk. Watching them go on walks together side-by-side on their leashes, fills one’s heart with so much joy because they are true soulmates. Mutzie has a smile on his face when new meeting people almost as if he is trying to say “Where have you been my whole life? Nice to meet you.” Jackie epitomizes the term “wiggle-butt” when he meets new people. They are just so happy.
After having some work done on their pearly whites, our vet has given these gentlemen a clean bill of health. Our desire is for them to get adopted together – we would be happy to work out a suitable adoption fee for anyone willing to take them home together. So please do not overlook these guys as little dogs of this age still have so much life to give.
