About Hans Solo:
Hans is a purebred African Boerboel Mastiff who was born in March of 2015, making him just about 3 years old. He is a big sweetheart with a sensitive soul and gentle demeanor, despite his size. Hans came to us when his family decided to move out of state and decided they couldn’t take him along; that’s OK though, as poor Hans spent the majority of his time in a crate anyways due to their busy lives and work schedule. Hans has had a small amount of obedience training and knows how to “sit”, “lay down”, and “stay” on command. He does need a little more work on a leash but absolutely loves going for walks! His former owner said Hans loves playing ball and chewing on big, tasty bones. We have discovered he is also a big softy and will do just about anything for a stuffy toy to snuggle with! The ideal home for Hans will have experience raising Mastiffs and understands that they are very sensitive; Hans cannot be forced to do anything, but learns very quickly given patience and guidance.
