Faith

About Faith:

Do you like the look of a mastiff, but do not have space for the size? Well then Faith is for you!  At 25 lbs, she is fully grown (with maybe a few pounds to gain). Faith is just so much littler in person than you might expect from her photos! Faith with found with her friend running around on the street by a nice police officer who picked them up and took them to the local shelter. Unfortunately, Faith was very frightened and was not doing well there so was transferred to us in hopes that we could place her. After only a few days, Faith settled in and is like a whole different dog – she loves people and wants to be touching them at all times. She gives slobbery wet kisses and will follows staff around like a shadow. She is just so happy to be alive; her tail is constantly wagging and, although she can be a little unsure in new situations, she is very brave and will quickly adapt given just a little patience. Faith seems to enjoy the company of other dogs but doesn’t appreciate being growled and barked at. She also wouldn’t mind sharing her home with kitty siblings, but may do best with calmer children. She may do best in a home where someone is home more often than not – she is not a fan of being crated and sometimes gets upset when she is left alone.
