About Clara:
- Clara is a big, sweet hound girl. She is very low energy and extremely quiet. She barely barks or bays. She comes to life around other dogs and plays in a flurry of clumsy legs and wagging tails. She is a sensitive pup who keeps her kennel clean. She was found walking along a country road all on her own and was never claimed. She languished in a shelter for months before being slated for euthanasia and that’s when I Heart Dogs came to the rescue. She is a calm girl who likes affection but is neither pushy nor demanding. She is scared of cats but non aggressive, just avoidant.
- Clara is presently living in a foster home while she undergoes treatment for heartworm the week of 1/1/18. She tested only slightly positive and should bounce back in no time to go into her forever home, so please don’t let this stop you from taking an interest. She deserves to have people competing for her!!!!
