About Abel:

Abel is a “Snorkie” (a mix between a miniature schnauzer and a yorkshire terrier) who transferred from a munical shelter. He is a tiny little dog with a big personality! Abel absolutely loves people and will follow right at your heels until you pay him some attention. He has a lot of spunk and could play all day long if you’d let him! He is a very wiggly boy who is always smiling and wagging his tail. He plays great with other dogs and would do just fine with children as well. Abel does have fogginess in his right eye which could be the result of an eye infection that was never treated — it doesn’t seem to bother him now, but he may have some vision loss on that side. This sweet little dog can be mouthy but has a very soft nibble that you barely feel – it’s an excitement thing with him and can easily be resolved with training. Abel has a bit of an “old dog” look to him despite still being in his puppy stage — he will need frequent grooming but is otherwise a low-shedding, hypoallergenic dog. We believe Abel would do well in just about any environment!
